Brighton Beach

Brighton Beach has been voted one of the Top 10 city beach break destinations in the world! Our Brighton Bed and Breakfast is just minutes from Brighton beach, the foreground and the heart of our cosmopolitan city.

The famous Brighton Pier compliments the Award Winning Blue Flag pebble beach with echoes of laughter, fair ground rides and flashing lights. Stroll along the Boardwalk and take in the atmosphere and music from the 'Galloping Horses' merry-go-round. Head further west to absorb the calm and tranquillity of Hove Lawns, just the place for a picnic whatever the season. Admire the Victorian splendour of the recently restored Brighton Bandstand – a great location for that all important holiday snap!

Head east where you will find Volks Railway and for those with a head for heights take a sky voyage on the Brighton Wheel, the latest addition to the beach front, which, with it's glowing radiance stands in complete contrast, to the burnt out skeleton following the last fire in 2003, of the West Pier which still stands defiantly from the waters edge just a short distance away.

Still further east is Brighton Marina where you can shop till you drop or enjoy a variety of restaurants or take in a visit to the cinema or for those that like a flutter there is always a visit to the Casino, not forgetting the glamour of the vast collection of boats on show all in the a delightful harbour setting.

Brighton beach and promenade is a great place to take a stroll and gives you chance to soak up the chilled and yet exhilarating atmosphere that IS Brighton. Early morning you will find the cyclist's and joggers and those that like to keep fit, a completely different feel to any other time of the day.

As the day unfolds activities on offer range from volleyball and basketball courts to water sports as well as live music, crazy golf, cafes and bars offering a cornucopia of alfresco winning and dinning. Along the Boardwalk you will find Art galleries, The Fishing Museum, souvenir shops and close by there is even a gym.

For those with an eye for Great Architecture there is a feast for your eyes from the Georgian splendour that is Brunswick Square – building work commenced in 1825 on what was part of the old Wick Farm Estate, to the quintessentially Victorian example that is the the Grand Hotel, through to the 'modernist' architectural style of 'Embassy Court' a grade II listed residential building completed in 1936 and an iconic example of early reinforced concrete construction, not forgetting of course the post World War II structures like the Brighton Conference Centre.

When the sun goes down, check out Brighton's seafront clubs and bars that nestle underneath the Victorian beachfront arches. Famous for their 'celebrity' DJ's these are some of the best club nights in the country.

After your nocturnal adventures head back along the Boardwalk which has a completely different feel to it at night – home to The Brighton Cavalaire bed and breakfast for a comfortable nights sleep and wake up to our lavish award winning breakfast.

All in all Brighton Beach and promenade holds something for everyone – sure to add much to your experience of Brighton life !
