The Cavalaire B&B is just minutes away from some great places to eat out while you're in Brighton. You would need to book ahead for most restaurants on a Saturday night.
We are obviously reluctant to recommend any restaurant but we do have our favourites which from personal experience continue to provide good food and service.
For a special treat you could try Havana 01273 77 33 88 in Duke Street, they do have a web site as do most of the ones we mention.
For something a little cosier there is Pomegranate (01273 628 386) in Manchester Street (small, Mediterranean with Turkish/Kurdish influences).
There is a Jamie Oliver's (Italian) in Black Lion Street, 01273 915 480 and if you like fish and seafood then there is English's 01273 327 980, East Street or Riddle and Finns 01273 323 008, Meeting House Lane (just off North Street) you can't book ahead for R&F and it is very busy most evenings.
Also Just a few minutes walk from The Cavalaire there is
Sawadee (Thai) St James Street 01273 624 233
Pavel (Indian) St James Street 01273
La Capanina (Italian) Madiera Place 01273 680 839
